This page explains, in plain language, how this site handles your information. Every page and tool — the pre-screen, business plan, projections, and document tools included — can be used without an account. A free verified account is needed only to save, resume, print, copy, download, or export your work.

Saving, printing, and exporting use a verified account

A verified email gives each account an identifiable owner and keeps saved work connected to the right private workspace. You can open and use every tool without signing in; sign in with a free verified account when you want to save, resume, print, copy, download, or export what you build.

What we store for your account

Your account stores the verified email address you sign in with and the workspaces you explicitly save — your pre-screen answers, business plan drafts, projections, and checklist state. Firebase Authentication processes your password; our server does not store a readable copy. Saved work is kept until you delete it. To deliver account emails safely and avoid duplicates, an isolated system record may hold the recipient and exact message while a send is unresolved; it becomes eligible for automatic deletion after 26 hours. After Resend accepts the send, we immediately erase the message content and recipient. We retain only one-way identifiers and delivery status for up to 7 days for account actions and up to 400 days for the once-only welcome marker; rate-limit records also expire automatically. Database TTL cleanup is asynchronous, so deletion can occur after the eligibility time. We use Firebase (a Google service) to process sign-ins and store account data; access rules limit every saved workspace to the account that created it.

What we never collect

There are no fields anywhere on this site for a Social Security Number, ITIN, EIN or tax ID, date of birth, home address, driver’s license, passport, bank account or routing numbers, or any government ID — and there is no way to upload documents. Downloaded and printed documents leave labeled blank lines for those details so you can fill them in by hand, off the website.

The only times data leaves your browser

Your loan answers are processed on your device. They leave your browser in exactly two cases, both of which you trigger yourself:

Account and security emails

Accounts use an email address and password, and the email address must be verified before saving, printing, downloading, or exporting. We compose verification, welcome, password-reset, email-change verification, and request-time security notices and deliver them through Resend. After a completed email change, Firebase must compose a recovery notice for the old address; our branded template delivers that notice through Resend's SMTP service. Firebase otherwise generates or verifies the secure action codes. All account email delivery uses Resend, and account and security emails are not marketing.

The feedback form

If you send feedback, we receive only what you type into the form. The email reaches us through Resend, an email delivery service. Feedback never includes your loan answers.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views, so we can see which pages people use. We never send your answers, loan amounts, scores, or results to analytics.

How deletion works

On your account page you can delete any saved workspace individually, or press “Delete my account and all data” to remove every workspace, the login itself, and the account-email delivery records we control. Deletion takes effect immediately when the request succeeds.
